Замок Энтро

Замок Энтро находится на холме между двух горных рек Савара и Дора ди Рем (название Энтро происходит от французского «entre-eaux» или «между вод»). Замок был построен в XII веке аристократом Пьером Саррьо с военно-оборонительными целями.

В процессе реконструкций на протяжении XV в он приобрел многоугольную, почти круглую форму, что отличает сего от других замков Валле д’Аосты.

Замок сильно пострадал во время двух разрушительных пожаров во второй половине XIX века и был восстановлен в начале XX тогдашним владельцем, аристократом Гонелла, позже он был выкуплен семьей из Неаполя, которые и являются его владельцами по сей день.
